Development Manager

Description:

Revels is seeking a creative and strategic Development Manager with experience in annual fund solicitation and stewardship. Reporting to the Director of External Relations (DER), and as part of a collaborative marketing and development team, the Development Manager will lead and manage the annual Revels Fund, cultivate prospects, and provide overall support to Revels’ 50th Anniversary Comprehensive Campaign and other organizational initiatives of Revels.

Specific duties include:

• Manage the design and implementation of the Revels Fund including appeals, developing strategies for donor retention and acquisition, and stewardship;
• Manage a portfolio of donors and leadership gift prospects;
• Develop and maintain donor stewardship program, timely acknowledgments, personalized communications, and events;
• Use internal and external data to follow donor giving trends to develop programs that meet financial goals and donor growth targets;
• Assist in the development and implementation of a Revels Alumni program;
• Assist in the planning and implementation of numerous special events throughout the year;
• Collaborate with Revels staff to maintain robust volunteer program;
• Provide general support as necessary for the preparation of grant proposals and reports to funders.

• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain a high level of poise and professionalism
