Discover the Peace Round

Dona Nobis Pacem, a Peace Round, has been a part of The Christmas Revels since our debut Cambridge performance in 1971.

Dona Nobis Pacem - A Hope for Peace

Revels founder Jack Langstaff introduced the peace round Dona Nobis Pacem to the first Revels audience half a century ago. It has been sung along with various other rounds for peace every year since. A highlight of our annual production of The Christmas Revels, Dona Nobis Pacem is performed as an all-sing round with our audience. For many audience members, this is their first experience of participating in part singing.

In the 2020 Christmas Revels, renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma joined us for this consistent and communal expression of hope for world peace.
