We are looking forward to seeing you in Sanders this year! (COVID protocols are in place and the theater’s air filtration systems have been upgraded – for more info,visit our website.) For those of you still feeling a bit hesitant, we are offering a virtual version of this year’s show as well, taped during our opening weekend and available to view December 30-January 9.
We are reaching out with some news to share: after much deliberation, Kate Stookey has decided to move to Maine to be closer to family and will leave Revels at the end of January. Kate and her husband both have parents in Maine, and the tumult of the past two years has led them to recognize the need to prioritize family. Kate will start a new job in February with the Maine Coast Heritage Trust as their new President and CEO. Kate will remain engaged in some way with Revels (details to follow!) as we search for a new Executive Director.
We are very pleased to announce that Diane Kennedy, our Director of External Relations, will be stepping into the role of Interim Executive Director. Diane has a deep love of and commitment to Revels and will provide a steady hand for the organization as we move into the future. We are sad to see Kate go, but are truly excited for her next chapter. Please join us in wishing her all the best.
